The School of Ocean Sciences, located on the shores of the Menai Straits, North Wales, is one of the largest university Marine Science departments in Europe.  It is a multi-disciplinary department with research spanning the natural sciences and addressing applied and pure issues in marine ecology, ocean physics, sediment dynamics, biogeochemistry and earth system science.
