Northumberland Wildlife Trust is one of 47 Wildlife Trusts across the UK, and was founded in 1971 to protect wildlife and promote nature conservation in the north-east of England. Our vision is “an environment rich in wildlife for everyone”, and our mission is “to conserve local wildlife, promote nature conservation and provide the means by which everyone can become involved.” NWT is not a Regional Training Hub, but as a CoCoast partner, provides valued perspectives on volunteer engagement and links to other Wildlife Trusts.
